Hi Everyone,
I'm currently a 2nd year at a Big 4 firm and I'm having a lot of trouble getting out of audit and into a more finance/FP&A-oriented role. Whenever I submit to financial analyst roles, I keep getting rejected and then hit up by a recruiter asking me about senior accounting positions. Have I already pigeon-holed myself into accounting or something? I don't hate accounting, but in order to get on the executive track, you need to have a broad range of business knowledge, and I therefore want to try or departments aside from accounting for my next move.
Any advice on how to avoid this?
